Comprehensive Migration Information System
JSC RIX Technologies has developed several state critical information systems for the Ministry of Interior and Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs which are responsible for issue of identity documents and travel documents, maintenance of the Population Register, implementation of state migration policy, including development and implementation of repatriation and asylum policy.
One of the most significant information systems in Latvia is Comprehensive Migration Information System which:
- ensures registration of residents of Latvia and foreigners;
- ensures person’s data processing, aggregation in the data base and statistical analysis;
- provides interfaces for the reception and inspection of person's data;
- ensures information exchange with other institutions.
National visa information system
Latvian National Visa Information System provides visa issue for the Republic of Latvia in the diplomatic and consular missions of the Republic of Latvia in foreign countries and in the departments of the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs, as well as at points of border crossings.
Electoral register and e-services
The Electoral Register is used for registration of voters at the European Parliament elections and a municipal elections. Each voter is registered for elections in a definite polling station according to his residential address in Latvia.
The Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs sends to each voter a notification regarding the polling station in which he is included in the voters' list.

During the European Parliament Elections in 2014 e-service Clarification of the registered polling station was used by 7% of all voters. E-service Clarification of the registered polling station and Change of registered polling station was used by 78% of all who changed the polling station and 20% of all who applied for postal voting used e-service Apply for a postal voting for voters living abroad.
